The US style guru has asked to be canned straight away so that she can get on her good life. When asked whether she would survive she replied that 'Many good people have been imprisoned, just look at Nelson Mandela".

Words fail me!

The Times did a comparison of the respective positions of Mr Mandela and Ms Stewart a few weeks ago. Wish I'd kept it or could find a link to it now.

Martha who

Don't let it get to you. I believe her profession is that of 'celebrity'. Celebrities are totally useless to society at large, although I suspect they keep the stretch limo business afloat. The kindest thing we can do is ignore them, so that they are forced to find meaningful employment, or become bag persons.

Re: Martha who

ah, but, you will find we all descend from cleb's, lawyers and estate agents if you believe the Douglas Adams history of civilisation.

Given that the only thing that made Mandela famous/repected/whatever was the fact that he was held prisoner for a long time, as I am not too sure he has much other merit, and then he came to lead S Africa. Then maybe when Martha comes out she will become president of the USA.
