For those of you old enough to remember them, Eric and co will be playing 4 nights at the Albert Hall in May.

More details <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.whereseric.com/clapton/news/2004/12/cream_reunion_its_official.htm> HERE </A>

Just happened to find this because I was looking for Clapton concerts - the best live artist I have ever seen.

Thanks for the reminder. I knew it was due to happen but didn't know when.
Hope we find out the date soon, as next month I'm meant to be arranging a Charter trip out of Kos for sometime in May.
Perhaps the Royal Albert Hall will be able to tell us.

Eric was interviewed by Johnnie Walker on friday evening on radio 2, where he made the announcement. He said that it would just be a get together for about 4 concerts and see what recordings they could come up with. I can't imagine that 4 evenings at The Albert Hall will satisfy demand - I think that was Clapton being modest.

It was hearing Clapton play with John Mayall in the sixties and then later with Cream that got me into blues. Did anyone else see BBM (Baker, Bruce and Gary Moore) play at the Brixton Academy a few years back? They did some Cream stuff at the end which pretty well brought the house down.

Have just got back from buying a DVD and had noticed the young guy being served in front of me was buying the Cream Farewell Concert DVD which was around '68 I think.

Walk in here and first thread I see is this one -- ohhhhhh, anyone want to donate a free return airfare to UK from NZ, pretty please.

Just spent a few days categorising my entire album set from 1 to 5 star in media player, so's I can get good play lists. Sad git's anonymous kept calling me through the entire process. I ignored them (actually told them to piss of)

Cream didn't feature even in the 1's <g>

Lawdy Mama Brendan must have just been a little guy then, still being fed by the Spoonful and Dreaming. Hadn't reached the Crossroads where he could say I Feel Free, no Strange Brew nor even a taste of any Sweet Wine.

But now he is his Mother's Lament because he has been Stepping Out and Passing the Time away Sitting on Top of the World.

Those were the Days miracles everywhere.
