Navtex and Raymarine C series

Has anybody connected the Nasa Navtex Pro 2 to a C series plotter if so how does it connect.

I dont think you can do so. The C plotter will only take NMEA or Seatalk input and surely navtex text is neither. Ask NASA

Navtex on C120

have spoken with Nasa this morning and apparently it does as does the Nasa AIS engine which outputs NMEA at 35,000 Baud rate so I have ordered one this morning £119 cant wait to get forecast on my C120

It's strange that there's nothing in the Nasa Navtex Pro v2 manual about it. Your C120 only has the option to select Navtex at 4800 or 9600 baud, so hopefully the Nasa unit will be the right speed.

As the C-series only has one NMEA port, I'd have thought it would be better to use it for AIS data, and use the Nasa Navtex as a standalone.
