Hi, hope someone can help.

I have an existing Navman Tracker 500 GPS (cheapest fixed GPS I could find to drive my DSC radio).

I just bought a NASA GPS repeater, which works ok when tested with my handheld GPS, but won't function correctly with the Navman. It displays position and SOG ok, but won't display waypoint info or XTE.

NAVMAN software version is V3.1, and it outputs NMEA V2.1 sentences: APB, BWR, GLL, RMC, VTG, XTE.

Does anyone know what sentences are required for the NASA repeater to function properly ? - manual is not much help.

Thanks - Dave.

NASA GPS Repeater requires RMC, RMB, GSA and GLLM sequences.
Bonne chance

Thanks, just found the NASA manual, which says I need RMB, RMC and GSA to fulfil all the repeater functions.

Looks like the NAVMAN not putting out RMB is the crux of the problem. Should have bought the Garmin !

Thanks for your help
