Navman Radio - need to reset the MMSI...

Well, we've just found out that the previous owner of our boat seems to have entered the wrong MMSI on the radio. It's definitely wrong.

Can anyone help with a trick to reset the MMSI on a Navman 7110? There are things suggested for the 7100 but they don't seem to work for this radio.

Post #4 is the one you want I think. Alter the PIN for your radio to 7 enter 1 enter 1 enter 0 enter.

Thank you for this reply. The link refers to information which, I think, only applies to the Navman 7100 and I tried it yesterday and it did not work for me - I kept the buttons pressed until the display showed the normal post switch-on display and there was no request for a PIN or anything like that.

My radio is the 7110 which is obviously more different from the 7100 than the model number would suggest.
