navman fishfinder connections

Hi, anyone know the pin connections for the 8 - pin connector on this fishfinder? Have googled to no avail ?

Thanks, but the manuals explain how to connect the wiring - I need to know the socket pin functions as I don't have the wire harness. Model is FISH 4430...

The 4430 manual is missing from that website (page not found) but I have that model. I have found the manual but the pin functions are not listed. Navman may be able to supply a replacement cable. Thanks Norman_e. Bought this at boat jumble yesterday, i want to see if it powers up before i throw money at it. Will open it up and try and trace connections that way

Right, got it open and have attached 12v to the big diode as shown. Device lowers up ok and enters simulation mode. All functions appear to work. Now need to find pins forsaken transducer connection. Held to my ear I can hear the thing ticking so the output seems ok. However I've tested all the pins to ground with a digital meter and one of them gives around 6v on ac range, nothing on dc. If it's kicking out at 200khz would my meter see this? And what voltage is applied to a transducer by a sounder? Any other way to identify the transducer output?

I had the same question a few years ago and never found out!!
