Navman 8084 chart plotter

Hi, our plotter has developed slight water ingress behind the display screen although not exposed to the elements, perhaps condensation. Any one out there had/have the same prob and if so how did you get rid. I don't as yet want to tinker with the unit as it continues to work satisfactory.

I have had the same nuisance condensation in our Navman that was originally taken back to the retailer, then returned only to recur now and again.
If I dared to open it up or gain access to the interior I'd suggest a small packet of silica gel be inserted and left inside, might cure the problem, or one stuck to the unit casing. The condensation comes and goes on mine periodically even after 5years of use.
A similar cure might sort out the engine hours meter on my Volvo instrument panel but haven't tried it yet.
