Hi,
The boat came with a Navman 5605 plotter which I plan on leaving down by the nav desk with the new plotter going by the helm. It would be really useful to be able to feed NMEA data INTO the unit to display wind and depth data below..

From what I have read it's a feature of the 5605 but the manual, which is for the 5505 and 5605, refers to a black and white connector on the back of the unit with the white connector having the wire for NMEA IN.. My unit only has a black and a yellow connector on the rear of the unit with the black being power and NMEA out and the yellow connecting to the Navman GPS antenna..

Does anyone know much about these units and how to get NMEA in to work?

On my 5600, the power cable also contains the NMEA in and out (socket with black locking collar)
BLACK GROUND
RED SUPPLY
BROWN POWER OUT
WHITE NMEA OUT
BLUE NMEA IN (OR NAVBUS -)
YELLOW AUTO POWER UP
GREEN - BLEEPER
ORANGE NAVBUS +

Great.. Thanks.. Would have been useful to have that in the manual I have.. :)
