Colin twice referred to the Navionics "tech girl". If we are to assume that she's not actually a moonlighting school pupil, Snorkmaiden would prefer that people use the adult term.

Two questions about this app - 1) can you move a route waypoint when it's in the midle of a route, and 2) when using when sailing, is there a way to 'navigate to waypoint' - complete with bearing, etc?

You absolutely can 1 and 2

Just sort out your route - save it and then once you saved it you can do with it what you please - add extra waypoints, movewaypoints all by re-opening the saved rute and tapping on the edit route function.

The version I have (UK & Holland HD) only allows delete last waypoint. This is a bit of a limitation, but I am using waypoints set up as favourites rather than routing. The Navionics app is really just a backup to the chart plotter so I am not overly worried. Having up to date charts on the tablet is a bonus, as you can download charts at any time.
