Navionics

just bought a new raymarine radar and plotter at SIBS.

The plotter takes Navionics charts. Not looked into what i need and where the best place to purchase the navionics card from yet.

any suggestions on places to buy at sensible price and what card I need would be a help. cruising area solent N / S Brittany

Which plotter did you buy?

If you check on the Navionics website and see the different charts available then search for the chart you want on google you'll get the best price, but they don't let the dealers discout the charts much unfortunately.

Good choice on the Raymarine unit though, you'll like using it.

Nothing flash only a C80, decided not to go for a E cos i dont need duel station and 3d.

Still a great unit though, that is why I asked, the ones that do the video, 3D etc are great, but if you don't need em, why pay the extra.

There is a really cheap place some where in California - it was mentioned in one of the old posts by a dutch guy - it was about half the UK price
