Navionics webapp vs boating app content?

I wonder if the data used by the online available webapp is the same as the relevant charts on an updated copy of the boating app or Navionics+ plotter chart?

Don't have recent copies of those, only osenc and a several years old Navionics+.
 
Not a direct answer but I’ve been doing a lot of research into the best iPad apps and by far the best I’ve found are the SEAIQ ones which can automatically download (and keep updated) the UKHO charts. These are *far* more detailed than the charts that come with the Navionics app or NavX.

Also you can get SeaIQ for Mac or Windows so you can plan routes from your desk - perfect for lockdown planning!

Interesting, thought Navionics and O-charts get their data from UKHO and they're as detailed as you can get. Except for local projects like Antares in Scotland of course.
