This is neat:

It's a web-based chart browser with worldwide coverage. Looks like you can't upload/download routes and waypoints etc. but I can see that coming in a future (paid for) version.

It works on iPad too and supports all the multi-touch gestures for scrolling and zooming. Very impressed!

Better still, use PCPlotter on a PC, save waypoints and plan routes (including timed/dated tidal vectors) and upload them to onboard chartplotter (in my case Raymarine).
The iPad app is useful for pilotage though - I agree.

Thanks for the link.

They also have an API, so if you want to include detailed charts on your own website, you can use Navionics rather than Google maps.

They have disabled printing, reasonably enough.

Yes. Navionics chart cards are compatible. Navionics sell pcplotter themselves.

Plaiying around with this on my Galaxy Tab 2, 7in.Great app.
Frozen twice, difficult to get out off.
Any ideas.
