Navionics iPad App Updated

I have got it on my ipad 3 and it is perfectly clear zoomed right in with no pixellation.

My first ipad so I have not done anything clever just downloaded central channel.

Can't seem to get the screen shots as clear as others on here.....

Out of curiosity - can you put in a fuel consumption of less than 3.8l/hr (Menu>Settings>Fuel Consumption)?

You could before the update.

No - When you spin the little numbers they spin back to 3.8!

I have the Ipad 2 and Navionics HD for Ipad - no problem! I hope everyone has the right version and not the Iphone one? :D

Edit: I have version 2.5.2

Look at page 1 of this thread.

The whole thread is on one page for me so you are going to have to be a bit more specific!

I have HD 2.5.2 and it is pin sharp.

The image below is posted oversize and as you can see is still clear. Zoom out on your PC to make it ipad size and you will see how sharp it is. Or save it locally and then zoom.

Your screenshot shows the problem with the new version on the iPad 3. All edges have very bad aliasing. As in, the lines are jagged edges instead of smooth lines, which the iPad 3 is more than capable of doing. Compare to the screenshots from previous versions or a previous iPad and you'll see all the lines are much smoother.
Whilst this doesn't make the app unusable, it's a step back for an update.

In fact, I've noticed the poor resolution and thus aliasing is visible on the icon from the main menu on the iPad. Sat next to the iPhone version, the new HD version looks badly pixelated. It's clear Navionics have ballsed up something in the update and will need to fix it.
