Hi All! New to this forum so be gentle 
Question is... I have just bought a new Raymarine E series plotter.
Not much use without charts... Does anyone have experience with Gold, Platinum or preferably both versions?
Is the Platinum version worth the extra?
Bearing in mind my wife and I are setting sail for a long term cruise in the Med in may and virtually every port we enter will be new to us.
Cant help think the sat images on the Platinum version will be very useful?
