maybe some one can help me here as there must be an answer rather than just buy a new card.!
i have a navionics sd card was in a humminbird fishfinder i had.
i now have a raymarine plotter in my new boat though compatable it does not fit, there is no micro chip within the sd card i have, there would be an adaptor for that.
what i need is some kind of adaptor that will fit a sd card into the larger raymarine slot..has anyone come accross this before?...cheers.:(

yes then i need a sd to cf converter..ray marine say dont have... navionics say buy new card.....seems a bit extreme to me.

Trouble is, that if Raymarine don't do one you probably will need to buy a new card. When I was looking for a Miscro SD to CF convertor I had to buy a cosher Raymarine one at about £35 cos the cheap ones off eBay didn't work. You could try something like This but be preparaed for it not to work.

well seems no point in buying one of ebay if they dont work,!
navionics must have very sophisticated tecknoledgy in their cards as people would copy them and bbotleg...or do they/?

anyone got a mediteranien crad for raymarine for sale?

or want to buy a gold sd card for same (not micro)?

I had to get a small capacity card to update a raymarine E series as it could not cope with the capacity normally offered due to the age of the technology used .

Hi Scottie, Do you know of anyone using the older Navionics Classic cards? Either CF or MMC, or the even older PCMCIA format would do. Looking for coast from the Forth round to Mallaig, or any bits in between.... What card did you have to get for the Raymarine? I'm also helping a guy with a C80 that uses Gold cards and I wonder if it has the same problem you experienced with these never high capacity cards. Ian
