Navionics+ app

So I have this nice shiny new Android 7 tablet and I want to install Navionics+ and since I've already bought and installed it on the now obsolete tablet I don't want to fork out more money so... is ther a way to transfer what I consider to be my property from one to the other?

Navionics website is the most tortured thing I've seen for a long time - not helpful.

I bought a new iPad recently and set it up via the iCloud from a back up of my old iPad. Navionics installed and opened without a hitch. Does android not have a similar system for new devices?

I would have assumed if your existing sub is on android you just need to log in again on the new tablet - or am I being simplistically naive and stupid again.

As long as your old tab was android Just log in to the play store with the same account on the new tab and you should be able to download it again for free
