Navigators & General Insurance any good?

Might take out insurance with the above mentioned. Are they any good?

I have insured with N&G for years - probably since 2002. They have always been very helpful in dealing with questions. But I haven't had to make a claim so I can't speak for that rather important aspect.

My last boat was insured through them. A (reasonable) claim against me was handled well by the brokers and N&G paid out with no problems.

Me too. No claim but they proved very helpful and flexible, rewriting policy terms in 24 hours when I threw a few oddities at them. Premiums have proved to be very competitive.

I find them helpful and well priced - also flexible about surveys and single handed sailing when approached. Not had a claim but a friend had a claim which was paid up by them very satisfactorily.

Top notch. No survey reqd; handled £700 claim very efficiently and happy to give Elbe to Brest cover without certificates. Plus the last three years the premium has gone down
