Navigation Langstone to Chichester Harbour

I have a small cruiser that draws approx 1 metre, is it possible to navigate between Chichester and Langstone harbours at HW

Perhaps.
There will be more than 1 metre of water, but headroom may be an issue.

Oh, and it's easiest to test this motoring towards Chichester because the tide runs towards Langstone at HW.

I did it in the S24, but doing it in the current boat probably wouldn't work, as if there was enough water to clear the mud, I'd hit the bridge, or vice versa.

Small boat or tender should be fine, just power up a bit as you thru the gap in the old railway pylons. A scout out at low tide shows where the deep bits are.

We do this regularly in our Quicksilver 640 Weekend at about half tide, enough water below and air on top !

i do it often in my 5mtr Shetland cabin boat. but if you need a mtr minimum its ok if you pick the tide
