nav lights on broom 35 european

hi all

had my broom about a month when son bought nav lights as a present he is pretty handy and runs his own business. nav ights worked then new ones fitted nav lights dont work, we made sure they where the same 25 w 12v. only two wires schecked fuses, maybe put old ones back on and start again.
know i have lots to learn so will be back

Check there is still power at the light ends of the cables.

Are you sure your boats not 24volt? if so it will have blown the bulbs immediately.

I Also thought they were 24 Volt lights.

yes the brooms of that age are 24v.
