Nauticat S-340/Finnsailer 34

Nauticat S340 and headroom

Thanks Kathy

I have been looking at the one at Liverpool Marina too - but am equally concerned for the same reasons.

As I said, I might spend a bit more and get a Seahawk (6'6 headroom) as it is for cruising/liveaboard rather than racing (so, before anyone reminds me that it is known as a sofa with sails)

However, I do like the look of the Nauticat (and wish I could afford one of the bigger ones)

Thanks for the reply

If it is the one for sale in Chichester on Yachtmarket, looks like a lovely boat to me, we liked the idea of a Seahawk or a Falcon but good examples are out of our price range.

Good luck in your search. It's no easy task!!

and we don't know how she sails!

I'm pretty sure that there was/is a Finnsailer 34 based on the midstream pontoon at Wicormarine in Portsmouth Hr. It might be worth speaking to them and asking - if it's still there - if they'll forward your contact details to the owner and asking for the owner's view.

Did you buy it?

It has now been sold - damn. Indecision on my part - it was a lot of boat for the money

If it was you - good luck

We do have a Finnsailer 34 on one of our deepwater pontoons, I would be happy to pass on your details if you would like to speak to the owner.

Hi,

Thanks for that. If we had known a few months ago would have been very interested.

We have now bought our boat. Bit of a difference, we have bought a Gib'sea.

K :)
