Do these people have a good reputation?

Their quote was the best of five and they did not require any qualifications unlike three of the others.

I was happy enough until yesterday when they called to say the insurers had changed from Lloyds (Which I have some confidence in) to Navigators and General Insurance Company (Who I have not heard of). I'm sure everything is ok but am new to this game and any advice would be much appreciated.

Navigators and General are huge and underwrite a large % of marine policies

Nautical are very good. I have been with them for over 10 years on at least one of my boats.

I have been with them for about ten years with 2 boats. Handled a 3rd party claim very efficiently. Shopped around when I changed boats last year but couldn't better them.

I've no complaints about Nautical and used them for a year. When I renewed, I moved over to Haven Knox-Johnston, who were a little more expensive (only 20 quid), but apparently are quicker to resolve claims. Been with them for 2 years now, but unless a claim is experienced, I suppose it's difficult to assess the best!

Speak to HLB and find out who he used for a recent "comprehensive" claim!
