Latest offering from Numarine 78 HT.

OK forget the hideous hull colour and soft furnishings , you can have what you want more or less.

Interesting though, worth a look IMHO

Your comments welcome as always ..... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Trev, Interior very similar to the ABS70!

Different design, a bit too thunderbirds for me though.

A quick question on the Absolutes, I saw a 56HT the other day and thought how poor the layout was compared to the 52HT. I did not like the small 3rd bunk cabin when in the 52Ht you get three decent sized cabins. Also prefer the galley up on the 52.

Is there a reason they are very different layouts?

As I assume they are pro photos I'll make a comment - shame that in the penultimate photo they didn't look to see what was in the background .....

Oooh, very nice stuff there. Is this boat built Trev? The photos look like very good renderings, not a real boat. Teak decks bone dry, shadows on the 2 bow cleats in pic #2 are at different angles to each other, etc. No bow fairleads, the forward starboard anchor locker hinge isn't 90deg to the hatch edge, etc. The sea and wake/spray are real, but not the boat I think

Do you have a profile shot - I'd like to see the vertical stem

yes it is, although not IPS powered or doesn't have the glass cockpit of the ABS, the ABS 70 master is actually a little bit bigger too.

56 is more your typical med boat, reason the third cabin is just a bunk thing is because you have the saloon below where the master cabin is on the 52. Cockpit on the 56 is bigger and can seat 8 comfortably around a circular table which is a more social way to dine in the outdoors. The galley on the 56 is much bigger too with full size domestic fridge and freezer etc.

Guess it depends what you need the boat to do for you. personally the 52 is more north european and the 56 is your typical med flyer.

BTW ABS 52 is now available in triple engine configuration so as per the triple 56 expect 40 + knots /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yes she is built (well I hope so , invite is for a sea trial 2nd - 4th July !)

I think the internal shots are Photoshoppy with the sea added after and probably the externals too have been tinkered with too as a tidy up exercise on no.1 but it does float and is physical.

Stem is fairly trad, I think that shot distorts the rake .

these are the only other pics I have at the minute.

Ah, ok, thanks. I see what's going on with the bow now. I was "misreading" the aerial photo in your first set of pictures - my mistake

Hope you enjoy the seatrial - please report back!

sorry for tardy reply PY, no IPS 11 isn't on our new product development schedule for the moment, ips2 are big heavy lumps and 52, 56, 70 and now new 64 were all designed around D6's 435hp, thats a big package of power for a 5.5 litre diesel so we can just keep adding more units to get the best power to weight ratio. On the multiple installations of D6's you have a choice if just pottering or slow crusing of switching one or two off so saving fuel. Also the D6' is a small dimension engine compared to IPS11 so you can have lower cockpit / garage floors gaining more space, the max power IPS D6 is a great package for boat builders, almost plug and play and just keep adding another and another for more performance, eg the new 64 quad ips.
