Quetly filling MF with diesel at Glasson. (A grave yard for boats not going any where).

A bloke comes up and says. "What range has she got"

I said, I dunno, never tested her to the limit. But about 200 miles I suppose.

Didn't get more words out.

He just said. Kindergarden stuff, and walked off.

His boat is in the shed and wont be mended till at least next year.

Dunno how long he's been working on it.

I ment aound 200 miles at 20 knots, at his speed, we'de probabiy go round the globe.
three times. Why do folk have to be so difficult.

Small dick syndrome. He knows yours is a better boat and has to have a dig. He can't possibly believe that doing 4 mph in a condensation filled steel coffin that generally floats around in a stench filled ditch can be preferable. Can he?

If he has a a a a god forbid, I shall have to say it - a a narrowboat :( , and it is non operational, then he will be missing his weekly fix of visiting the incredibly twee Bide a Wee Teashop and Rope Fender Emporium for scones and a rose and castle painted plant pot.

He has just spent a fruitless afternoon pulling last years scone crumbs out of his beard in an effort to have his fix and found it rather unsatisfying.

Then you come along filling up with diesel, presumably having the capability to burn it again and its like lighting the blue touchpaper.

The mooring lines look like they may be the best bit of the boat..
LOL, yeah, but not for long.
Using a single line tied to separate cleats onboard is the perfect recipe for tearing it, as soon as it has to withstand some movements of the boat...

Oy! Nowt wrong with that "boat" He's off to the meddy next week, well so he told my brother anyway!!

Nice searchlight!!
