i may have been slightly more argumentative than normal, but i am young and need marine taming, i'm right everyone else is wrong, perhaps the wrong attitude but, it has done me well. i shall, in future, reduce my views to factual rather than hot headed comments - in my own little way, i apologise. TCM - no hard feelings, but i'm still not as thick as you may think, i would like to start a fresh, perhaps make some friends on this forum, so i can gather 'real' opinions.

now that's more like it. There are lots of us hot headed and always right, but we usually muddle along with a bit of banter. You'll probably get stick for , err, ever really, but just take it and after a while it becomes fun banter rather than aimed at you.

Just cut out the sales pitches and you'll be fine. Defending your product is OK as long as you don't overdo it, and you'll find many opportunities to put your point of view over when asked. Have a look at how Jon Brooks from Icom does it, good balancing act he does. Plays a part in the forums, answers questions on products, but doesn't push it too far, and is generally highly respected for it.

No hard feelings. I didn't really think you were thick and you couldn't have been to tack thru the long thread - i was just baiting you all along. Sorry. But it was good fun eh? Afterwards, anyway?

It is really very much behind bikesheds or "out of hours" here - upfront commercial stuff is for elsewhere...
 
Just the uual winter fever as the weathers crap and forumites getting grumpy coz they cant take their boats out. even if they are in the water.
I should be happy.... done almost all the jobs and Sea Dream goes back into the water today. No chance of using her yet ... SWMBO insists i finish the bathroom first, cant think why?

My theory is well out the window.
I am astonished how many are apparently prepared to speed the process of inheritance along, I fear a deterioration in pontoon safety is near.

I wonder if the loss of red diesel will create a similar effect as did 'Crack cocaine' , could muggings become common as we try to get cash for diesel to satisfy our addiction.

On a very serious note I hope we have all noticed that some have voted for " I don't like having the p**s taken ".
So please bear this in mind and as we don't know who they are lets have a " Be nice day ".

In fact I am going to start now and I will have a " lets be nice day " and from this day forth I declare every day I will endeavor to be nice so the wimps stop wingeing. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Ha, you should have seen what used to happen here ages back. No talking about engines and 'gardeners question time' questions as hlb would put it, just lots of fun and dust ups.

Talking of gardening can you suggest a good plant for a dark cabin

Brendan, your English is going to hell: "a lot less people?" Shouldn't that be "fewer people?" And the plural of coma is not coma's /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
