Is it my imagination or has the bad weather turned the forum into an arena where Nasties can come to vent their anger against others who also seam to be having a bad hair day. The last 2 days have seen more visits from the rag and stick posters ( this is welcome ) also looking for an argument.

I like this forum as it is full of nice people, how do I know ? simple answer- nice people get on in the world , earn loads of money and buy a boat therefore any one with a boat must be nice. In general the bigger the boat the nicer the person.

So what has gone wrong these last few days ?

Any of todays nasty boys want to own up to being a Lottery winner or worst did you knobble the Mother-in-law to buy your boat with the inheritance ?

Can't be - i'm not rag and sticky. Well, not entirely.

However, MBC has become a bit borin recently with no scams or riots or anything, just a bit backwaterish. So, much better to jazz it up a bit and have it "where it's at" like it used to be, miles ahead of sbutt in threads and postings tho alas no more.

I am not aiming at anyone, I feel the whole forum is more argumentative, I deleted two of my own posts after a few minutes reflection.
I just hope they didn't see them first !

It is good fun I'm , I suppose I want to check how far it is acceptable to go so I know when I am having a bad day. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Ha, you should have seen what used to happen here ages back. No talking about engines and 'gardeners question time' questions as hlb would put it, just lots of fun and dust ups. Lot less people here then though, so you could insult with relative inpunity as we were more of bunch of friends, and could take liberties with no ill feeling.

The place needed livening up!

I have to put my hands up here.

I was a bit fed up and so entered the life raft thread with the intention of injecting a bit of life. However on the other thread on charts, I really did want a simple answer but was getting real fed up with the banter when Brendan came along as a sort of therapist to vent my frustration on ..... then I felt a bit better.

Really it all because my boat is still not ready as we enter the fourth month since it arrrived and I am really fed up with that!

Yes, a touch of cabin fever in the air I think.
Funnily, it also feels a bit threatening today - a sort of watch your back and double lock the front door day. Strange.

And I may have taken Brendan's therapy offer up had not the cat just had one of those inexplicably undignified mad minutes of turning somersaults in the air and chasing her own tail before frowning at her own stupidity and settling down on a radiator. Which has made me smile.
 
And here was me about to comment a couple of days ago that we had not had our post spring time eruptions, all I can say is so far you have all been much better behaved that others years so far. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
So WHAT WRONG!!!!!!
