NASA Supernova Combi Tri and Anchor L.E.D mastlight any good?

Here's a quote from the NASA website about "approval":
Supernova navigation lights are intended for use on vessels up to 12 metres in length. They comply with CE generic EMC standards and are waterproof to IP65 and IP67. There is no specific EU standard for LED navigation lights. Supernova lights do not have any national approvals.

If the cable is easily accessible below deck a reversible male/female plug/socket arrangement would be fine...

If you have two single switches by switching relays with normally open and normally closed you have 4 states of operation.

The 12 v micro relays use virtually no current and you wire them so off is the normal position. One on/ off switch enables the light and the other decides which light option you want, very simple and keeps your original switches.

I use hot glue to fit the relays just next to the relevant switch, these relays are about 12mm x16mm blocks so very small. They do have quite small solder pins as they are designed for circuit boards so you have to careful when wiring.

There's an easier solution... rig up an LED lantern when you're at anchor, either in the foretriangle or even better on the topping lift. The prospect of showing an anchor light 10m in the air has never instilled much confidence in me.
