Two weeks ago my Clipper depth sounder stopped working so I emailed Nasa Marine who asked me to send it in with a covering letter.
This I did, and despite being out of warranty by a couple of years they repaired it FOC and sent it back. All I had to do was pay the postage.
I fitted the display head and transducer back in the boat this morning and everything is working fine.
Hats off to Nasa Marine for their customer service.

They are good at supporting their products. I sent them a navtex unit that turned out to have terminal circuit board corrosion. They replaced the bits it needed for a very reasonable price. Still going strong now.

Agree, excellent service. I once had a Navtex and a sounder fried by lightning, not their problem but they still gave me a very generous discount on new units. On another occasion I needed some guidance and the receptionist went and got an engineer from his bench to guide a numpty through the process.
I wish more manufacturers were as helpful.
