Nasa depth goes blank

My standalone Nasa sounder sometimes gives a blank screen. I've checked the cable connections and it looks fine. Also cleaned up the transducer face. If I switch the power off, wait a couple of minutes and switch on again, it may work for another 5 mins or so.

Anyone got any other ideas

Just the had same fault and found it lay in the transducer cable, fitted spare now ok. In your case its problably internal Have a chat with Nassa Ive always found them to be ok.

Check that transducer tube is full of Castor Oil.
