Someone has left their weedhatch behind at Sonning on the Thames. It's been here for at least 24 hours. It looks new. Please get the message out.

We saw a bloke bailing with a tin can on the Grand Union once. When we got close he was bailing the weedhatch.

He thought he would get rid of the water so he could see his prop.............................................

Once many years ago when trying to remove a rope round the prop of a hired Narrowboat through the weedhatch, a fellow boater came over and advised me that he started the engine and put it into gear to unwind it. I politely declined!
