Hi
Does anybody know what Toyota engine the t4. 200 nanni engine is based on I have one and the altinator belt tensioner bearing is shot nanni want a arm and a leg for a new one
Trying to find a cheaper alternative
Tia

The engine is a Toyota 3.0 diesel Turbo.

Get the Toyota engine number (My T4.155 (mechanical fuel injection) was just above the fuel injection pump) and go to a company like "RoughTrax" in Keynsham or a Toyota main dealer for your part.

My Nanni T4.155 engine had a Toyota number starting M1 KZ and then 7 numeric digits.

To my best knowledge (and workshop manuals for the models):

It is the Toyota 1KZ block.
1KZ-T with turbo
1KZ-TE with turbo and electronic management

The M is for Marine as Toyota deliver marinization prepared engines to Nanni.

T4.155-4.380-4.390 doesn't have the alternator belt tensioner but the T4.200 does. One would expect the bearing to be replaceable simply by identifying the one fitted or searching for it for the 1KZ-TE.

Hi
Thanks for your replies
So I spoke to Ar peachment about a replacement bearing for the tensioner and it appears that nanni doesn't do one
I find this very strange, they would sell me the whole unit for just over £700
So I measured the bearing and found one on line which I ordered
The following morning I saw the thread mentioning rough trax, they list the idler pulley with bearing so I ordered one
They turned up today and both look spot on so for £76 I have a new one and a spare
Thanks for your help everyone
