Engine spares
Hi, I have a Nanni T4-155 engine in my boat. This is based on a Toyota Moto M1KZ engine from a
LAND CRUSIER
HIGH ACE
HIGH LUX
does any one know how to cross reference this to obtain spare parts from Toyota.

Really depends a lot on what you are looking for. The engine is prepared for marinization by Toyota (the engine has the 'M' in the model number), but not all the parts are common to those used in cars.

Service parts like filters and more are plenty available. E. g. impellers are standard Johnson pump parts - not Toyota but plenty available.

When I had the Nanni 4.90Tdi
I used rough trax for spares but they don’t have the marine parts of the engine like the oil cooler or heat exchanger and so on.

The rough trax stock code for cam timing kit is i believe, CAMKIT012. That is for the 4.390 which is 102 teeth belt.
Toyota part numbers
Cam belt 13568-69085
Idler 13505-67042
Tensioner 13540-67020
All in afore mentioned kit.
I have found x refs for most if not all service parts with help from people on this forum. All have proved correct though i have not fitted the cam kit yet. You can find exploded view parts list for the 1KZ engine easily on internet to get parts for base engine.
Note that my experience of roughtrax was very good though they seem less than enthusiastic about selling stuff for boat engines if they know about it.
Over the winter i will put the info i have together and will be happy to share.

This great stuff I would appreciate it if could share the info.
The Nanni parts list I have is for the T4.155 and T4.380 I can't seem to find a Nanni parts list for the T4.390. but I have found a belt for sale for a T4.390 and it's the same Nanni part number as the 155 and the 380.
Thanks

It is the same base engine and Toyota is famous for not changing anything unless they have to. Part of their 'lean' culture :)

Hi.
Has anyone got an exploded parts list that identifies the Toyota parts numbers for the valve clearance spacers that are needed for under the camshaft.
I have the Nanni part numbers but would like to checkout the Toyota parts for price.
Thanks

Hi - I also have a list I put together - I did have a Beneteau Antares which had the T4.155 and carried out the valve clearance checks myself - I do have a few shims (genuine Toyota) and the tool to allow you to change the shims with the camshaft in place - PM me if interested and I will send you a list of the shims I have etc.

Best Regards

Paul

Hi Paul
Sounds good will you send me a list of what you have including the tool, is this the tool referred to in the workshop manual ?.
And a price for your package.
Email is: ian45t@hotmail.com
Thanks

Well, I posted the link in response to your

Has anyone got an exploded parts list that identifies the Toyota parts numbers for the valve clearance spacers that are needed for under the camshaft.

I'd use the numbers to check prices where you are (obviously not Oz?), then order from whoever can deliver at a fair cost.

Looking at the Nanni manual and speaking to Peachment there apears to be 16 different sizes of shim the Nanni part numbers are 970312178 to 970312194.
There are 8 valves so a full kit of shims is 128 parts.
Does anyone know what the Toyota parts numbers are or the the kit number and who supplies them.
I looked at Rough trax but don't see them.
Thanks
