Shame you do not have a side view. Have you tried a google image search for finding a similar one. It certainly looks French to me. The alloy toe rail means it 1975 or later. The sloping chart table is not common and I only know of early Westerly's and Arpege having this feature. As Arpege is a French boat, it is possible it is an early Beneteau or Jeanneau.

Yes Sole engineers quite handy…….in theory we have an appointment to view next weekend …….sofas definitely selling point😂
Make sure your teeth are in good condition and firmly attached to your jaws as the single cylinder Sole (also sold in the UK as a Stuart Turner) is known as a bit of a thumper. My guess is it is a local Spanish made boat as pretty sure French boats did not use that engine.

Damn. I thought he had finally bought a boat and was inviting us all to suggest a name for it, how about "Procrastinator"?

Yes itsanoying the owner doesn’t know the class☹️
Were you planning to race it? Otherwise the class is surely not that important - its not like boats of the age you are looking at all sail exactly like they left the factory... some will have got worse with baggy sails etc and some will have been improved by their owners.
