CB News Editor Steffan Meyric Hughes, aka Grumpydog on this Forum, is attempting a sail-and-oar circumnavigation of London, using the Thames and canals. His boat is a Storm 15, made and lent by Swallow Boats, but it doesn't have a name yet.
We can't let this state of affairs continue, can we...

Hmmm; let's see. Around London by sail and oar; that's going to be a slow trip, with some very difficult patches. I think that you'd have to call it "M25".

Thank you all for getting into the spirit of this thing! I enjoyed the suggestions very much. If I had to choose, I would go for 'Smoke Ring' as it's better than what I came up with (Miss London for Chrissake - maybe I should've kept quiet about that!). As it turns out, the boat was used to scatter a man's ashes. I didn't know this at the time, but the boat is soon to be named after the deceased man, so it doesn't need a name after all. But I enjoyed the exercise. Thanks!
