You'd be better off painting the tender red and calling it something like"Red", so you don't get the two boats mixed up.
 
Well at least have 'petite bleu' and go the whole hog /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I believe the word petit takes the feminine form to become petite because a vessel is a 'she', can anyone elaborate?

We used to have a Metzeler inflatable dinghy (one of those bright orange ones with a turned up snout - not the prettiest dink by far).

The Metzeler people called it a 'Tender One' so we did the same..... the other dink was 'Tender too'. Not very original I know.
