N Wales Thieving Motor Boating Scum

Apologies for the provocative headline.

A good raggie friend of mine left an expensive watch in the toilet portakabin at Victoria Dock Marina at Caernarfon. In the couple of minutes it took for him to realise that he had left it there a two or three people off a large flashy motorboat went into the gents and collected it. It was seen on CCTV and Mark the Marina manager to his credit and risk to his job confronted the people seen to have gone in there, much to the amusement of the scum present who laughed in his face.
If anyone has noticed someone from Deganwy/Conwy wearing a U Boat watch (huge dial) which they suddenly acquired please PM me.

Who were "the scum"?

And if you know the name of the boat and are completely sure that one of the crew took the watch then why won't you name it? Or maybe it's not certain that it was one of said crew? Otherwise why bother posting.

Start with the skipper? He might have had some less honourable 'mates' along for a jolly. You may appeal too his sense of seamanship etc...

Well yes, but seeing as they laughed in Marks face, I doubt there'd be much mileage in it. Personally, I wouldn't like to mess with Mark

If it was seen on CCTV how come it is not clear whether 2 or 3 people went into the toilets. If there is doubt about that, is it not possible that someone else went in there and nabbed the watch and these people are in fact innocent?
