The question is, were they something the OP had from another job and found a use for them on the boat, or were they procured for that reason?

The boat is still relatively new to me (<2 years).
I have never used these items.
I merely 'discovered' them yesterday in a rather inaccessible locker I don't remember opening before.
Through the Standfast Owners Group I got in touch with a previous owner.
And he explained to me what they were for. See #7

Thought I would give one of these a go, can always grind it down to fit.
Otherwise its a car seat belt thingy. Thanks for the ideas, very helpful.

The one on the right is a manhole key and fits in the "-0-" hole to lift it out. I'd guess that the left one is for levering out a stuck manhole cover.
I can't imagine what use they would have on a boat - none of my boats have had any manholes on them!
