Mystery new powerboat spotted at Ben Ainslie Racing

Never knowingly undersold on the hyperbole!

"Intense speculation"...half a dozen old blokes wondered if they could do it in a slightly less stressful colour scheme with comfy seats.:D

Still, thanks for the pix and story.

Hunton have gone bust as there would appear to be no market for 40ft performance boats.
We've got FL building a 34ft day / cuddy boat.
SS are saying that they are expanding their range to include smaller and faster boats.
Now this day / cuddy boat from Princess.

Doesn't make sense to me.

I think there is Pete - always has been .
The customer base are affluent day boaters likely shoreside property’s owners in a fashionable Med location .
They are not thinking of “ camping “ aboard and year round boating , it’s will be hangered while they winter in St Moritz

How ever regardless of who buys it ,
I was disappointed at the pics of the hull - av job , nowt special imho - - and wait for it outdrives .Oh why o why with a blank piece of paper end up there —- argh !!
The Target punter is not bothered about a few bucks saved , just wants to cruise past floundering - / slamming - average stuff .
Here’s what would have had my pulse racing if it had appeared camed up on a flat bed @ Princess .

As i mentioned earlier in the thread i think it looks a bit too similar to the frauscher range of boats.

Itll sell well enough in the med i reckon, and its good to see the british manufacturers introducing new smaller boats instead of heading ever larger, thats means theres a remote chance i might be able to afford one in the distant future

Will be interesting to see what the final boat is like, will be way beyond my budget now though.

How about the "exciting technology" being foils that extend from the hull on demand ? All a bit Gerry Anderson stuff.

I heard, on good authority, at the weekend that there will be one in Torquay this year, possibly the first off the production line if he gets his way.

It will be very interesting to see what the finished product looks like.
