Mystery bow thruster

I am having trouble identifying the bow thruster on my 1997 Broom 34 which needs new brushes.

Can anyone offer a suggestion please ?

Vetus say "similar but no cigar" and Albright, who made the contactor will not tell me which manufacturers installed them (data protection)

I am finding it impossible to attach the picture I have. All I get is a message saying "whoops we have encountered some problems " for a bompuyer with a brain the size of a small planet that is not very helpful !

Still.......any guesses ??

Take the brushes out and measure them then order from here:-

I have a 1998 ocean 34, fitted with a 3kW Volvo QL 3 kW thruster, looks different to yours.

As mentioned previously, measure them and get a third party set of brushes.

Have you tried calling Brooms, I believe they still do maintenance and have always been very helpful, will probably have all build records of your boat

The motor also looks similar to the vetus on my boat.

Mine is certainly very similar but but lacks the Frankenstein bolt through the grill on the right hand side of the picture and the jubilee clip like band around the waist, also the two screws on the casing are further apart.
Must be a contender though !
