Recently have been wondering wether to be cremated or not and if so what happens to the ashes.
Current thinking:
20% scattered over Bessie Bell
17.5% sent to the Customs and Excise
5% Children In Need
10% Ardfern Yachts
40% off Fanad Light
7.5% surreptioussly in Chris's fuel tank.

Where would yours go?

True story - I was out on the river on a jetski ('scuse my language) and I spotted a couple of cards floating in the water. Stopped to pick one up and have a look and found a message in a child's handwriting to their grandmother telling how they would miss her. I then spotted a few flowers floating nearby. Guess I was in the middle of some poor souls final resting place.
Luckily it was like a mill pond and I didn't come off and swallow a big mouthful!

Ashes:-
20% to marine engineer
20% to local chandler
20% to various on-line chandlers
20% to marina fuel pontoon
20% divided between Navman & International Paints.

In reality, 100% sprinkled off the back of a fast planing motorcruiser (at speed).

Already have it in my will to have ashes scattered in the north sea. Probably from an oil & gas platform, as I've been involved with the things for the last 30 years! Might as well make it permanent !

I have had to change my will, as I instructed for my ashes to be scattered at the entrance to the Edinburgh Channel (at Edinburgh No1) in the Thames Estuary, but the buggers have removed all of the bouyage in the Edinburgh channel in favour of Fishermans Gap. I considered just giving a Lat and Long but it wouldn't be the same, especially as the Tower close to fell over a few years ago as well. I guess I will eventually find another piece of water. Perhaps the Sunk Tower, which is getting shallower all the time.
