Evening at Portomarin,neither port or marine……town on the pilgrims way where it crosses the river Miño.The town was at the bottom of the valley until Franco flooded it to build a Dam.Theentire village was moved to higher ground and the church moved stone by stone….

The mouth wash was M&S malbec. Meal, apart from pasta, cooked from scratch whilst crossing the English Channel. This was the remains, a light snack after a boozy lunch ashore .......

The wine glass must be nearly 50 years old, so becoming an antique like me !

Often is in harbour for maintenence of the heat resistant deck paint.

Other vessel is RFA Argus which has been excellent value for taxpayers.
