Hi all
I have just last year put 8 coats of (French wood oil) onto the Gunnells of my 100 year Ex Fishing Boat However dispite wraping the wraps in cloths the wood is still getting rubbed.
What I am looking for is a supplier of a form of protection other than rags
A Brass or S/S Rubbing strip would do! However it must pass a OGA inspection!

Cheers

I agree with Ken, but you can get brass rubbing/keel strip, from classic boat suppliers, then drill countersink it and screw it down, they even do bronze! No OGA inspector could turn his nose up at that!!
