I ( awight, my boat) was once lifted ashore for a scrub and antifoul on a simple fork lift truck in the ol Caribbean .
The bloke said ' this is the smallest invoice I think I have ever written' . I chust smiled...

Do they make really really big forklifts?

This one?

You've cracked it jokerboat .

And that could be driven to Pressed-on Preston. I'm im-pressed

Yes, put the forklift on a low loader, drive it to Preston, lift the boat into the water, sail it round to Fleetwood where they have a big enough crane to put it on the low loader, with which it can be taken back to Preston. I'm not sure how you'd get it off the low loader at Preston because I don't think they have a big enough crane.

What were we trying to do again?

The drystack places have 'negative lift' fork trucks, specially to be able to lower below the quay.
I don't think they do much above 5 tons though?

A virtual beer to the first person who can work 'four candles' AND 'fork-lift handle' in to the discussion?..

(Jumblie, you are pretty good at this sort of thing)....I cite "Free The Preston One'', a definite loss to the newspaper industry!

I think the best thing to do is ask Dylan to come with "four candles" set light to it then " fork-lift handle" it straight into a skip.
