if only a knew what ?. That she is really a Nigerian gent who has some money for me ? She's a scammer plain and simple

I'm going to get in on this blag.

Welcome to Aston Martin Scribble. send me £10 and i will let you scribble on a very expensive car. Simple!:encouragement:

Disclaimer:

I don't own an Aston Martin, that's the point of this entrepreneurial venture, you send me cash to buy one.
Your scribble may not go on the car and if it does it goes underneath*. (*in black chalk only.)
I will tell the world what a dullard you are for sending me money. ;)

:D :D :D :D maybe she doesn't even own Elismor !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

I think that's going a bit far; there is plenty of corroboratory evidence to suggest that she does, including, for example a web page by Preston Marina

http://www.prestonmarina.co.uk/core_pages/EZMR.htm

and a Preston blog page

http://blogpreston.co.uk/2014/01/el...hich-has-rested-in-preston-dock-for-10-years/

(if Ellie and the author of that page should look at Fisherman's avatar on these forums they may be able to solve a mystery).

The picture on board Elizmor (and Fisherman's avatar) are copies of a photograph taken in Whitby harbour in the late 1800s. Frank Sutcliffe, the photographer, is rightly recognised as a pioneer of the art and his photographs are wonderful examples of social history. http://www.sutcliffe-gallery.co.uk/

So the comment in the Preston blog page - the "picture [that] sits in the cabins down below which Eleanor thinks could be one of the fisherman and one of the daughters" - meaning one of the previous owners of Elizmor, is nonsense.

Thanks. It's a great photograph; nice to know where it comes from.

She does seem to have left a trail of abandoned blogs and twitter accounts and has a surprisingly small online presence for a freelance digital marketing consultant. Still, I did, after a quick and not-at-all-stalkerish search find this, which suggests an intriguing consistency of approach to boat funding

The website referred to is now dead, but can be found at

This LinkedIn profile extract is interesting, too

Wow! New Heights/depths of creepy.

Although, creepy credit to you for actually posting that you did that!

She makes money from making her life public. I don't think it's at all creepy to see what she's been up to.

no, she earns a miniscule fraction of her income from "public life" as you put it. Have you any idea how much money most people make from social networking?

You could use that excuse for going through people's dustbins and looking through their curtains too.
