I cast a big mooring block out of concrete four years ago but it never got put in.
The wait was worth it however as I now have two tons plus of concrete on the muddy bottom in a sheltered site at Plockton.
Very heavy eyes x4 of which two are attached to seperate multplait seasteel risers with two heavily protected spares..
Also in shallow enough water to easily inspect at very low water.
Now at last I can get my boat back in the water and enjoy a harbour with two floating pontoons;various nice pubs and restaurants and a great fish and chip shop and only 50 miles from home on the open road to Skye!-not to mention the spectacular scenery.

Congratulations. Just make sure that on very low tides there is no danger of the boat impaling itself on the concrete or the eyes.
And do inspect the chains eyes shackles etc frequently. say 6 month intervals until you get an idea of wear rates. good luck olewill
