Lst week the run out after intercooler work looked promising as offending engine pulled max revs.
This week going well for first 25-30 miles then decided to not go over 2000 again plus bit of black smoke.
Darn diesel engines. Looks like blowers coming off for service.

Clive, as you know I am no engineer, indeedy I am a Nemesis around anything mechanical. However... look under the 145s somewhere there is a flexible pipe carrying cooling water, check this isn't going flat when hot. Not explaining myself very well here. This pipe is reinforced to stop it flattening under pressure, problem is that over the years it isn't staying fully open due to age.

Clive, you also reckon you are loosing water into the bilge, got to be a leak somewhere. Bell me later in the office.
