My first Dubarry Thread

How long before you get mud all over them?

I would save them for walking the dog in comfort. Friend of mine was wearing her posh dubarry boots on the boat as the looked like the posh marine jobbies (but were actually for horse riding and mud), she slipped and we were very fortunate not to lose her over the side. They are not very grippy on hard wet surfaces (but great in the farm I'm told).

If so I reckon you should get a pair a year for life.

PS I am very pleased with the length of this Dubarry thread already

IMO Dubarry boots are one of the few marine products which justify the price. Warm in the cold, cool in the heat, dry at all times, non slip, no silly leather laces which come undone every three minutes, or slip off at crucial moments (like stupid deck shoes) and - best of all - wind people up no end.
