I agree with ASJ1.
If you are on a limited budget you need a boat that you can trail home.
I have had 2 boats about 18 ft and kept them in my driveway so I only paid when they were on moorings for holidays etc.
I then bought a 21ft boat which can just be trailed but really needs to be on its mooring most of the time. Result, mooring costs of over one thousand pounds a year.
I would always go for a popular production boat so you can sell easily when you decide you want something different (as I do about every 4 years!).

I had a Manta 19 which was a very good boat, but good ones seem to sell for a premium.
