The question is, what shackle do I need to attach to this anchor?

Neeves will tell you to buy a really expensive one with letters stamped on it, Tranona will tell you to buy the same as he did, I'll do some pointlessly detailed calculations and VicS will actually know the answer.

A small one:D

Agree with all that has been written thus far but clearly it needs to be a shiny one....

Combine these two and you have a winner.

TO be controversial can i suggest a dirty great over specified galvanised one. Ideally with some minor rust staining, some ingrained mud and rotting seaweed to give it a natural nautical feel.

I can let you have one for for the very moderate price of £995.99 plus postage and packing.

I think you are looking for a "Hopshackle"

Of course you always need more then one anchor. You could try one of these.

Might be a bit over sized for a 6 inch long anchor

This would not be a proper anchor thread without saying that you need a more modern anchor.
Not sure what shackle to use with these (modelled by engineering son for a birthday present)

Its clear that at that price, you wont be in business long. Ridiculously cheap. I'll take 2 whilst stocks last...
