My early Christmas present

Some internal pictures.

Island double bed forward with two large draws below. Large storage under the centre of the berth too. Plenty of shelf space and wardrobes either side.JPEG image.jpeg

Nicely appointed heads with Tecma electric toilet just out of shot. Plenty of storage below sink.

JPEG image 4.jpeg

Full galley with gas hob, gas oven below, combination microwave built-in and large 85 litre fridge. Lots of storage below and at eye level.

More to come.

Helm. Post delivery work to facilitate a glass dashboard on the Axiom in the centre of the dash giving full engine data.

JPEG image 6.jpeg

Cupboards aft of helm. TV/aerial sockets are all in the cupboards below to keep things tidy. Drinks cabinet and glass storage here too. Walnut/holly flooring just more practical than carpet. Handrails inset into coachroof and a large glass sunroof just out of shot.

JPEG image 7.jpeg

Seating to port with fold out hi/lo table. Seating is configurable too. Sliding glass doors fold outwards to open up the entire saloon/cockpit into one large area. JPEG image 9.jpeg

More to come.

Cockpit is to be laid in teak to match the bathing platform and side steps. I didn't put the seating out as it was peeing with rain but it's dark blue in colour to match the hull and internal blinds but with thinly striped insets to match the light oak and walnut interior. Large lazarette below with loads of storage space.

That's all the pictures I have for now. Haines have done an incredible job fitting so much into just 32 feet but still giving a great feeling of space. Nice touches too like a fob to remotely turn the lights on and off when you leave for the pub and later need to find your way back!

Overall a seriously impressive boat I'm immensley proud to own.

Many congrats Jim, she looks the business!
Would be good to catch up while she is local but I fear that Tier 4 makes it a bit tricky!
Hi Greg. Don't think the tier 4 restrictions will allow that which is a shame. Realistically the next time I see her she'll be sitting on the mooring in Haslar.

Yes, you couldn’t make this up! Having spent a month or two on the south coast when we bought the Hardy we hope to return at some point so maybe catch up at Haslar!
.

when are they coming back to put the helm wheel on straight? ?
Thanks for the heads up. I’d missed that :D:D

What is the make and model of your microwave as I need to replace our, the turntable doesn’t turn, and yours look the same size!
It’s a Bosch HMT 72G450B. Neat bit of kit.

Beautiful looking boat! Have you taken her for a sea trial yet?
Nothing of any consequence but I have no qualms about the sea keeping from what I’ve seen and read, and the fact it’s an Andrew Wolstenholme hull as was my Broom I had before.

Murphy’s Law. The year you’re in the Solent I’m boatless as the Broom went to Norfolk back in May. Typical :)
