It looks like i`v stumped the experts on motorboat forum,nobody knows what the tie bar is for on my volvo penta 9 hp. I would like to remove it or resort to major surgery to my beds. i cant see what purpose its for exept giving exta tension to the forward mounts.volvo uk are no help they just want to sell me things like stronger mounts.can anyone help?
